🟢 Available for Adoption

Name : Fungi (Funghee)

Role : Spore Sorcerer

First Spotted: 22nd June 2025

Height : 8cm

Personality : Gentle, thoughtful and endlessly welcoming, Fungi has a gift for making everyone feel at home. He listens far more than he speaks, believing that every creature has a story worth hearing. Curious about the natural world and endlessly patient, he delights in sharing both fresh cookies and quiet wisdom, firmly believing that nearly every philosophical debate is improved by something warm from the oven.

Favorite things :

🍪 Baking woodland cookies.
🍄‍🟫 Collecting unusual spores.
🐦‍🔥 Hosting fireside conversations about the forest and the cycle of life.
💤 Napping in moss patches that are “purely for research purposes”

Special ability : Fungi naturally emits a faint, comforting aroma that changes with his mood. Most days he smells of fresh mushroom soup and earthy cedarwood, but attentive visitors may notice subtle variations. A cheerful Fungi carries hints of warm biscuits, while a contemplative Fungi smells like a forest after gentle rain.

Story :

Long before he became known as The Spore Sorcerer, Fungi was a young woodland baker living in a tiny moss-covered cottage on the edge of the Elderwood. Each morning he baked fresh bread, berry pies and honey cookies for any creature who wandered past. Birds, hedgehogs, badgers, rabbits and even the occasional grumpy fox always found a warm welcome and something delicious waiting on his windowsill.

To Fungi, sharing food was simply another way of sharing kindness. He believed every creature carried a story, and that stories were best told over warm cookies and a pot of tea.

One autumn, an ancient oak that had watched over the forest for centuries finally reached the end of its life. While the woodland mourned, Fungi sat beside the fallen tree for seven days and seven nights, unable to believe something so magnificent could simply disappear.

On the seventh night, beneath a full moon, a circle of tiny silver mushrooms appeared around the trunk, releasing shimmering spores that danced through the moonlight before settling gently around him in a warm, earthy mist.

Then the Forest Mother whispered:

“Those who understand the cycle of life shall carry the scent of the forest itself.”

When dawn broke, the spores had vanished, but Fungi had changed.

As the first mushrooms emerged from the old oak, he finally understood. The tree had not truly died—it had become the beginning of new life. From that day forward, the forest spoke through him, his emotions carried on ever-changing woodland aromas that reflected both his heart and the health of the forest around him.

The woodland fairies soon nicknamed him The Spore Sorcerer, insisting he could hear mushrooms whispering beneath the earth. Fungi has never confirmed or denied the rumor. He simply smiles.

Inspired by what he had witnessed, Fungi devoted himself to studying the hidden world of mushrooms and spores, learning how they quietly stitched life back together after every ending. Yet despite becoming one of the forest’s greatest natural scholars, he never abandoned the joy of baking. Every loaf, pie and cookie he shares is a gentle reminder that kindness, like the forest itself, grows when it is shared.

His closest friend is Digga, and together they champion compost, mulch and natural growing, proving that the smallest living things often have the greatest power.

Favorite saying : “The forest taught me that nothing is ever truly lost. It simply changes into something the world needs next.” 🍄

Fun Fact : Woodland creatures often visit Fungi without saying a word. Somehow, they always leave feeling lighter than when they arrived.
