Personality : Loyal, cheerful and endlessly optimistic, Barkley believes every path leads somewhere wonderful. He greets every new guardian with an enthusiastic wag of his tail and never leaves anyone feeling alone. Brave without being boastful and endlessly curious, Barkley is happiest when exploring somewhere new, especially if he gets to help someone find their way home.

Story :

Long ago, before the first guardian ever found a forever garden, the magical pathways between villages were hidden beneath roots, wildflowers and winding woodland trails. Many travellers became lost, wandering in circles until they forgot where they were trying to go.

One bright summer morning, a cheerful little dog caught the faintest magical scent drifting through the forest. With his nose to the ground and his tail wagging, he uncovered a forgotten fairy path that had been hidden for centuries. One by one, he rediscovered the secret routes that connected enchanted gardens across the realm.

The Ancient Magical Council quickly recognised his remarkable gift and appointed him the Hidden Path Finder, entrusting him with welcoming every new guardian before they set off for their forever home.

Until they leave the Agency, Barkley helps every new guardian feel confident about the journey ahead. Once Barkley has found his own forever garden, he quietly patrols its hidden paths, guiding lost fae folk, discovering forgotten fairy trails and helping magical creatures find their way home.

If you ever stumble across a little path you don’t remember seeing before, Barkley may have visited during the night, quietly making sure that every traveller—no matter how small—can always find their way home.

Because every magical adventure should end exactly where it belongs: at home.

Special Ability : Wherever Barkley walks, his paw prints briefly glow with soft moss-green light, revealing hidden fairy trails, forgotten doorways and invisible paths to those who need them most.

Fun Fact : Barkley’s ears twitch whenever hidden magic is nearby… even while he’s fast asleep.
